Cafe de la Paix is a real little gem of a place in Cork City. What I love about it more than anythuing else and aside from the wine of course is the feeling that you are on a boat rushing down the river Lee, its right beside it and some days the river is flowing mad and its amazing. Excellent wine list, plasent staff and an outdoor area. The wine is something else thougha and so is the choice that you have.... Try at least a glass of Birdcage syrah :)

The Ivory Tower is truely an unqiue eating experince and a great way to try Irish food in a whole new way. Wild Irish boar, pheasent, venison, blackened shark and my favourite everytime is the Korean styled cabbage and bacon. This truely is the theatre of food and the best place to eat in Cork city. They have fab veggie dishes as well and amazing sorbet between each course and a castronomical desert menu. Go and live a little and eat at the Tower !!!

Possibly the cutest juiciest shop this side of Venus. the Berries is all you could want in juice, smooties and health shakes PLUS they do amazing things with their menu LIKE veggie bagels, tuna melts, cream cheese&bacon, little pots of chilli and a whole lot more. The staff has been voted the friendliest staff in MUNSTER, which is the proof on the pudding, they even pull funny faces to pass the time. your just gonna love it, unqiue, special and so so different !!!!!

Off the beaten track, a gem, treasure, cosy, cute and lovely.Yes Tom Barry's pub in my opinion is the pub of pub's in Cork city. Up to date art light boxes on the wall, indoor and outdoor fires, vivacious clientele, fresh beers and a great wine list. And an amazing beer garden.I love Tom's, plus it has a huge place in my heart for lots of different reasons mainly because it just is. When ever I go home this is the bar I like to meet friends in. A must go if ever there was. Viva Le Barry's x

It may be Irelands oldest gay bar but there is nothing but a love buzz and a crazy vibe inside. Pool tables, great staff, regulars at the bar and you-never-who-your-gonna-meet atmosphere which is just what a gay is all about. The cutest beer garden and its heated, a valuable commodity for the long warm summers. The start and finish of many a Pride weekend. Loafers has it all really, although other bars have come and gone Loafers retains its royal standing among the queers of Cork...
