The lewd art work on the walls of this Old Town institution tends to scare some people away. But considering how gentrified this once arty neighborhood has become, that's probably a good thing. It's what keeps the place so gritty. And this place has plenty of grit. If you want to hang with some real hard drinking regulars, you won't find a better bar on the North Side. It's also one of the few bars left in the city, and maybe the entire country, that has only jazz on the jukebox.
