Japonais is really nice! It's a very elegant modern sushi restaurant/lounge that attracts Chicago's posh crowd. It's expensive but worth visiting for the decoration alone. It's a great place to celebrate a special occasion especially in the summer because they open the terrace and you can have drinks along the river. The tables outside are usually reserved but there is still plenty of room to stand and enjoy drinking with your pals. The lines on the weekends get long so get there early.
