Can’t beat this location. Located right off the Pink and Green Ashland stop, the Cobra Lounge is a great meeting place. The atmosphere’s dark and the décor’s blood red. It has a very cool, artistic vibe and the crowd is diverse and lively. The Windy City Rollers – Chicago’s all-female roller derby league – even throw their after parties here. It’s definitely a rocker bar. The jukebox is badass and packed with punk and metal favorites. Good shows roll through here too, every once in a while.
