I highlight this restaurant for many different reasons.
The food is good quality and reasonably priced. There are different starters and main dishes, egyptian and continental food.
The cafe was a meeting place for many bohemians and even today one can perceive the nice ambience.
His staff is very cordial.
Eating & Drinking
An experience not to miss on any trip to Cairo after the ride through the famous Khan el Khalili bazaar is to stop to drink a mint tea if is possible on the edge of the alley of the famous Cafe Fishawi and see pass the bustling life of the scoundrel, and more traditional cairo.
today is quite touristic but nice to experience it.
this restaurant is not the best relation between quality and money but it is a good place to finish the day eating some egyptian food and drinking a good wine or stella beer. Its decoration is peculiar. normally is full of tourist.
is a unique and peculiar restaurant. Situated in a flat within a normal building. Passing through the gate you find a club to eat, talk and where the bohemian jet set from cairo meet to enjoy. The menu is more Egyptian than greek but the atmosphere and some members are from Greece.
Do not confuse it with the restaurant. Here you can eat falafels, chicken and lamb shawarma and a salad.Stand up or to take away. Good price.
