Kocadon Restaurant is located in the central Bodrum and renovated from a stone house into a restaurant. It has a completely different cuisine, which alters the mediterranean tastes with creativity and the result is unbelievable. Especially the artichoke salad is legendary, and kind of famous! Beside that, my favorites are the chicken wraps with shrimps and tomato dolma with octopus stew. Since it is the unique place for such foods, the prices a little bit salty though...
Eating & Drinking
Çimentepe Restaurant's biggest plus is its spectacular view! The Restaurant is just next to the see that the waves touch the walls of the place. They serve the mediterranean cuisines in their unique way and pretty delicious. Their specials with shrimps are really tasty, but the best thing you can eat there is the barbecued calamari on sticks! 1 portion is never enough, but don't lose you control!..
Kule bar is most probably the best rock bar in Bodrum. Always with live rock music, it is enjoyable to drink couple of beers with friends when you just want to listen high sound music. It is in the center of the Bodrum so you can flow into the night after your rock night if you don't think it is enough. Beer is not expensive so I suggest you to rely on that.
It is not easy to find a good kebab restaurant in Bodrum, since the town is a totally mediterranean and the tourists expect fresh fish to eat! However, it is not impossible! Denizhan Restaurant is such a great meat restaurant, creates a funny contrast with its name (Denizhan: Sea Khan) They are serving wide range of kebabs with great taste. You can also find special Turkish desserts which can complete your feast with a nice cup of Turkish coffee in the end!
Located on the sands of a beach, this place is very interesting. It opens at 12:00 and works until 22:00. It is very possible to see people swimming and eating at the same time. The place is very small and there are very few tables to sit. The restaurant actually a place that you can only eat home made Turkish cuisine, which is a very popular thing in Bodrum! If you go, you have to try Imambayıldı with grandmother's recipe!
