It serves huge and tasty mutton dishes. Also a good place for an Ethiopian coffee ceremony. The owners are really nice and don't charge tourists extra. Almost like a local place.
Eating & Drinking
Food in the Ghion is very good and cheap. The staff is very friendly and you can sit in a great ambiance, in the flowering garden at the lakeside of Lake Tana.
nice torest, drink a beer and eat something nice.
This is one of the few accptable restaurants here. The place is rather popular amongst locals and is simple but OK. There is a new restaurant (Enkututash 2) located very near in the same avenue as Post Office but a little further, passed the Ghion Hotel. This 2nd one is a little more "luxury", located in a cottage, but roughly the same menu.
They have excelent fish
This Place does fantastic smoothie, juices, milk shakes...The fruits are all fresh and seasonal the choice is limited to that specific season. The staff are very relaxed and there is a family atmosphere in the place.
