When I didn’t have a job I used to come here all the time. A lot of students and “cool kids” make up the majority of the clientele here. They’ve got really fresh art on the walls done by local artists and the music they’re playing is always cool. Sometimes they’ll even have a live band come in here. I know Tuesdays are jazz nights. The food here is amazing and vegetarian friendly. I eat meat but I’ll go veggie if it’s good (like their broccoli-cheese-mushroom quiche).
Eating & Drinking
The Galway Bay is the place to go for a hearty meal. Once a month I'll stop dieting and go here for their Reuben sandwiches. I was born in Omaha so I know what makes a good Reuben sandwich. In my professional opinion Galway Bay delivers. This place is really authentic Irish in terms of atmosphere and its menu. You can get fantastic Shepherd’s pies here but you can also get very “Maryland” items like crab cakes. In fact the crab cakes here are quite famous so do yourself a favor and save room.
